Job Description
Policies, Processes & ProceduresImplements approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and provides instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner
Day- to-day operationsImplements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Branch to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures
Branch ManagementPromotes and markets the business through existing and potential walk-in clients and travel agents in order to achieve branch revenue targetsEnsures that passengers’ list is sent to airport in order to register all passengers for check-in. Recommends pricing of new products, based upon cost inputs and projected sales and as per the group policies and proceduresLiaises with travel agents and airline principle to manage bookings and schedules for travelsDeals with customer enquiries and complaints and aim to meet their expectations and solve any issues Direction of Subordinates Organises and supervises the activities and work of a small team of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the Branch activity is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant manner
Continuous Improvement Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
ReportingPrepares departmental reports of ELAF timely and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards
Safety, Quality & EnvironmentComplies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
