Under the general guidance and supervision of the GSA Supervisor or Shift leader or delegate and within the limits of established EHC Policies and Procedures and Personnel Manual, responsible for the supervising and participating in all activities pertaining to the Front Desk such as room assignment, guest check in/out, handling of guest messages.

Day- to-day operations

  1. Participates in all activities related to the process of rooming hotel guests.
  1. Provide a courteous welcome upon check in.
  1. Implement and coordinate room assignment with concerned Front Office sections and other hotel departments.
  1. Advises all guests of their room numbers and room rates.
  1. Promotes hotel facilities efficiently.
  1. Handles complaints with immediate action and thorough follow yup.
  1. Handles guest needs, inquiries and requests promptly.
  1. Follows billing instructions.
  1. Registered the Elaf Membership card, as per the membership procedure.
  1. Makes the room status accurate and clear.
  1. Makes necessary arrangements for group and crew check in.
  1. Maintains usage of registration cards.
  1. Acts as a sales person in order to maximize room revenue.
  1. Establishes effective employee relations with colleagues.
  1. Complies with hotels Health, Safety and hygiene policy.

  1. Interacts and cooperates with hotel guests as appropriate.

6. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications:

Hotel School Diploma from hotel training centre/ College

Minimum Experience:

At least 1 or 2 years as receptionist..

Personality / Appearance: Well groomed

Skills:

Communication Skill

Customer skill

Age : 22-30 years

Sex : Male/Female

Education : Hotel School Diploma an advantage but not essential

Language Required : English essential / Arabic
