Day- to-day operations

  1. Supervise and participates in all activities related to the process of rooming hotel guests.
  1. Ensure that all guests receive a warm can courteous welcome upon check in.
  1. Supervise and coordinates room assignment with concerned Front Office sections and other hotel departments.
  1. Ensures that all guests are advised of their room numbers and room rates.
  1. Ensures that next destination sales are promoted upon check in.
  1. Promotes hotel facilities efficiently.
  1. Handles complaints with immediate action and thorough follow up.
    1. Ensures that billing instructions are accurate and clear.
    1. Handles guest needs, inquiries and requests promptly.
    1. Prepares and submits all required statistical reports on a timely basis.
    1. Ensures that room status is accurate and updated.
    1. Makes necessary arrangements for group and crew check in.
    1. Maintains and controls usage of registration cards.
    1. Acts as a sales person in order to maximize room revenue.
    1. Provides input for departmental meetings.
    1. Identifies departmental training needs and conducts training sessions.
    1. Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
    1. Complies with hotels Health, Safety and hygiene policy.

    12. Performs related duties and special projects as assigned

    1. Clear outline on Walk In’s / skippers handling.
